Manav Gaushala Samiti

Manav Gaushala Samiti works for the welfare of cows through various programs. The purpose is to make people aware of the care, management, and nutrition of domestic and stray cows. Being a registered animal welfare organization it works for prevention of cruelty towards cows and discourages the cruelty towards the animal. The organization promote vegetarianism and makes people aware of the existing animal laws of this country. Unlike other animal welfare organizations, it focuses more on providing shelters and veterinary care to cows. Manav Gaushala Samiti based in Uttarakhand is a registered non-profit organization. The volunteers of the organization work towards banning of cattle sale and prevent slaughter and indiscriminate killing of cows in the name of sacrifice. It further works towards preventing cattle smuggling.
